The Chatham-Kent Police Service is holding a couple of bike rodeos today and tomorrow.
Children and families can come out and learn important bicycle safety tips from police officers, get helmet fittings, and take part in a fun bike safety course. The events will also feature face painting, outdoor games, and free hotdogs, snacks, and drinks.
Stop by Grace Christian Reformed Church (255 Tweedsmuir Avenue West in Chatham) tonight, from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday in Bothwell and Tilbury from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The fourth annual Jaimee Doyle Memorial Classic Auto Show is tomorrow at the Shrewsbury Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. Donations and non-perishable food items will support the Blenheim Word of Life Soup Kitchen and Food Bank. Rain date is Sunday.


The Walk for Alzheimer’s returns to Chatham-Kent this weekend.
The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s will take place tomorrow at Kingston Park in Chatham from 10 a.m. until noon in support of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent.

The walk will also have live music, a petting farm, door prizes, and more.

A special birthday celebration is happening tomorrow at Charlotte’s Freedom Farm for Winnie — a five-year-old dog born without fully formed front legs.
Despite his disability, Winnie has become an inspiration to thousands online and visitors at the farm, where he runs, jumps, and even walks on his back legs.
This year’s “Greatest Showman”-themed party will also highlight disabled rescue animals and the specialized care they need.
Winnie’s celebration is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the farm on Brooks Line, with admission by donation or gift.


Three game weekend for the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers.
Stop by Fergie Jenkins Field tonight (7:35 p.m.) when they take on the Kitchener Panthers. On the road Saturday to Barrie, before welcoming the Brantford Red Sox on Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
The Barnstormers have only played 3 games so far because of a couple of rain outs, and have a record of 1-2.
Team owner Dom Dinelle will be In the Dugout with CKMORNINGS Tuesday morning to recap the weekend.
