June 2nd is the 153rd day of the year. There are 212 days remaining until the end of the year.

The Chatham-Kent Public Library hosts Movies @ Your Library every Tuesday at the Chatham branch.

Stop by today to see The Grizzlies.

Movies start at 2 p.m.

The YMCA of Chatham-Kent‘s third annual “Push the Bus” fundraiser is this weekend.

Teams of five or six people will race to push a full-size school bus 80 metres on Courthouse Lane in Chatham. Organizers hope to raise $4,000 to help send children to summer camp who otherwise couldn’t attend. Teams are encouraged to donate or fundraise about $200 — enough to cover one week of camp for a child.

The event is part of the YMCA’s larger Fill The Bus campaign, with an open house, activities, and a barbecue from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Details on the event and how to register can be found online.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire: Taylor Swift has wrote an original song for the Toy Story 5 soundtrack called “I Knew It, I Knew You”. It comes out Friday.

The song is inspired by, “rootin’ tootin’ cowgirl Jessie’s ongoing journey in Toy Story 5 that began back in Toy Story 2.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Taylor Swift release without variations. On her website, she was selling three collector’s edition CDs: The single, an acoustic version, and a piano version, each with different artwork. They sold out pretty much immediately.

Céline Dion is extending her Paris comeback residency with 10 additional shows after overwhelming demand from fans. The new performances, scheduled for May 2027, bring the total to 26 concerts.

The announcement follows Dion’s return to the stage earlier this year after stepping away from performing due to Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare autoimmune disorder.

Meanwhile, a television drama about Dion’s early life and famous family is also in development. Titled “Growing Up Dion,” the series will be produced by her brother Jacques Dion and inspired by the family biography written by her nephew Jimmy Dion.

Amazon has officially announced that Prime Day 2026 will run June 23rd through June 26th — making it the earliest and longest Prime Day ever at four full days.

The shopping event is moving from its usual July slot, with Amazon saying the shift lines up better with summer spending and major global events happening this year.

Big discounts are expected on tech, home goods, fashion, and kitchen products, while rival retailers like Walmart and Target are also expected to launch competing sales.
