The San Jose Sharks superstar has signed a five-year, $94 million contract extension that makes him the NHL’s highest-paid player by average annual value. He will earn $18.8 million per season when the deal begins in 2027-28, after a 115-point season and an Olympic silver medal with Team Canada.

He’s 20 years old.
