Residents can safely dispose of household hazardous material at no charge. A list of acceptable material can found here.

The drop off is at Veolia Environmental, at 141 Prosperity Way from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Time to check your pockets and drawers – If you bought a Lotto Max ticket in Chatham last summer, you could be $100,000 richer!

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says a $100,000 ENCORE prize from the July 8th, 2025 draw is still unclaimed and will expire tomorrow.

The winning ENCORE numbers were 2-2-2-7-0-1-3, and the ticket was sold in Chatham.

Lottery prizes must be claimed within one year of the draw date. If you think you have the winning ticket should contact Customer Care with details about when and where it was purchased.
