Today is the 18th annual Burgers to Beat MS Day at A&W.

A&W will donate $2 from every Teen Burger sold across Canada to support Canadians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Since 2008 more than $23 million has been raised to support Canadians living with MS. Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world, with over 90,000 Canadians living with this disease.

Last year, Burgers to Beat MS raised $1.6 million.

Astronomers have spotted the fastest-known star in the Milky Way — and it’s flying around a black hole at an incredible eight per cent of the speed of light.

The star, called S301, reaches about 25,000 kilometres per second as it loops around the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A*, at the centre of our galaxy. It completes an orbit every 8.7 years and comes closer to the black hole than any star seen before.
