Say hello to Harley, a sweet 12 year old Pug mix who has officially entered her “I’ve earned the right to be a little spoiled” era.
Harley is a lovable little lady with a big personality, and absolutely zero hesitation about sharing her thoughts. This girl is chatty! Whether she’s giving you the latest updates on shelter life, joining in on your conversation, or simply making sure her opinions are heard, Harley has plenty to say.
At 12 years old, Harley has no interest in training for a marathon or conquering Mount Everest. Her idea of adventure is a short, leisurely stroll followed by snacks, a cozy bed, and an aggressively satisfying nap. Basically, she’s discovered the secret to happiness and we should all be taking notes. She is both dog-friendly AND cat-friendly, so she can fit beautifully into a variety of homes. What she really wants is a family who will shower her with love, comfort, yummy treats, and all the little luxuries a senior girl deserves.
As a senior pup, Harley will need regular veterinary check ups to help keep her feeling her best. She previously had some mammary lumps removed when she was spayed. Her veterinarians did not have concerns that the lumps were cancerous, but continued monitoring and routine veterinary care will be important as she gets older. Harley has so much love left to give, and she’s ready to spend her golden years doing what she does best: being adorable, making conversation, taking leisurely strolls, eating snacks, and napping like it’s her full-time job.
