Meet Oliver!

Oliver lost his owner a few years ago and when the family was no longer able to care for him, our rescue was contacted. This handsome boy has been through a lot in his short life so someone with time and patience to give him the love he deserves is necessary.

Oliver is a very loyal boy with a gentle heart and a quiet, sensitive personality. He is little nervous when
meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar situations, but underneath his timid exterior is an incredibly loyal dog who just wants to feel safe and loved.

Once Oliver learns to trust someone, he forms deep bonds and loves staying close to his person,
whether that means curling up beside them on the couch or following them from room to room. He needs someone who will let him discover his new home at his own pace and not rush him.

We do not recommend apartments as he can be a barker sometimes and we want him to have the best
opportunity in his forever home. Oliver thrives in calm environments and would do best in a quieter home
with adults or older teens who respect his boundaries.

He loves snuggles, walks, and peaceful evenings. While he may take some time to come out of his shell,
watching his confidence slowly grow is incredibly rewarding. Oliver requires an adopter who is willing to
work with him on his confidence and fears. He can be skittish and growl or snap at people when he gets
stressed. As a result, we are searching for a permanent foster home for Oliver to live the rest of his life
happily in. As a permanent foster, all veterinary care and medical expenses are the responsibility of the rescue, you just provide Oliver with a beautiful home and love! He is truly a sweet boy.
