I LOVE new music Monday! I get excited about the new songs that are released each week.

Gracie Abrams has a new song “Hit the Wall”, the lead single from Gracie’s forthcoming third studio album, Daughter from Hell, announced last week coming out July 17th. “Hit the Wall” is about deep emotional burnout, fatigue, and the experience of “white-knuckling” through life. It explores her own self-destructive habits and the tendency to self-sabotage and close off when overwhelmed.

Let’s talk about the new Noah Kahan – Doors – from the album The Great Divide. Have you heard the album yet? Thoughts? It’s on my list right now. Vinyl. The only way to go.

“Doors” looks at relationship anxieties, self-sabotage, and the fear of intimacy. Highlighting the feeling of desperately needing to be understood, but at the same time, actively pushing loved ones away. Lyrics revealing Noah’s history of hurting those closest to him.

Talk has released a new track. “Time Machine” looks at the desire to go back and undo past mistakes. Inspired by the feeling of being kep awake at night by past mistakes, the song is a reflection on wanting to turn back the clock to fix those ‘dumb mistakes”.
