New Music On The Fox This Week
July 14, 2026 11:58 amWhat do you think of this? One of the surprise hits of the summer is “Boston” by Stella Lefty.
A feel good country-pop song about falling for someone when you least expect it. If any bit of it reminds you of Stick Season (Noah Kahan), there’s a reason – there’s a touch of that familiar melody. Stella actually gives Noah Kahan songwriting credit on the song.
We also just added this track from Cameron Whitcomb. A song that anybody who has gone through some hard stuff still claiming to be “fine”.
The song title actually comes from Hunter S. Thompson’s 2003 book, Kingdom of Fear that looks at the idea of these walls of anxiety and sadness that people build up year after year as a defense mechanism, despite telling others they are fine. Cameron co-wrote the song after a period of creative inspiration after dealing with the stress and burnout that came after his debut album “The Hard Way”.
The song took off, with fans seeing the song as an anthem for mental health.
