STING HAS A NEW ALBUM OF OLDER RE-WORKED SONGS COMING OUT AND IT SOUNDS REALLY COOL!
March 28, 2019 9:10 amSting is all set to release his new album “My Songs,” on May 24th!
Sting is doing something really cool. He’s coming out with an album called “My Songs.” It’s his favorite Police and Sting songs that he’s re-worked.
The idea came to him after he re-worked “Brand New Day.” He said he loves the idea or making the songs as contemporary as they can be. He enjoys tinkering with them and testing out the latest technology to basically reinvent the track. He even admits his voice is different now than it was when he was 25.
So he had some fun with this album creating and re-working things with both new and old recordings. The new arrangements are based on how music has evolved for him in his live performances over the years. Looking forward to hearing it, look for it on May 24 .
