On October 26th (the Saturday before halloween), join the fun by riding through a haunted bike trail full of spooks and surprises!

This is a fundraiser for MS Canada which is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Canadians affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). It focuses on funding MS research, advocating for better healthcare and services, providing support and resources to individuals living with MS and their families. Multiple sclerosis is a chronic neurological disease that affects the central nervous system, and MS Canada works to advance understanding and treatment of the condition.

STEGH’s First MRI Machine

The first-ever MRI machine at STEGH has been put into service, St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) and the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation are excited to share this news. The hospital’s capacity to provide St. Thomas and Elgin County citizens with advanced diagnostic services will be significantly improved by this cutting-edge technology.

This success is the result of the kind support provided by the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation’s Transforming Tomorrow Diagnostic Imaging Campaign. The campaign’s main goal is to raise money to improve and grow the diagnostic imaging department as a whole, with the purchase and setting up of their first MRI machine serving as its foundation.
