Annual Wear Purple Day

This Friday. November 15th, the LAWC (London Abused Women’s Centre) encourages everyone to wear purple to show their support for the women who are/were victims of male violence.

The LAWC would like people to show their support online, by posting a short video/photo of them in a purple shirt, with the hashtag: #ShinetheLight2024, and tagging them @endwomanabuse.

In November, buildings and landmarks are turned purple as part of the Shine the Light on Woman Abuse campaign, which promotes awareness of male violence against women and fosters solidarity with survivors.
