Feel free to bring non-perishable food donations and kick off the giving season with the London Food Bank. The London Performing Arts troupe will also be collecting donations along the parade route to support the parade’s annual costs, and London Roofing is gathering teddy bears for the Salvation Army.

Can’t make it in person? The parade will be live-streamed, starting around 6:30pm, and the video will be available on YouTube to enjoy.

Kicking PancreAS 5K: United in the Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

On November 23rd, London, Ontario, will host the “Kicking PancreAS 5K”. A walk/run event that raises funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer. Brought to London for the first time by the Baker Centre for Pancreatic Cancer in partnership with Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society, this impactful event began in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and now spans 10 provinces.

Pancreatic cancer is a devastating diagnosis. With a survival rate of just 10% over five years, it ranks as the third leading cause of cancer deaths despite being the 11th most common cancer. The Baker Centre and Craig’s Cause are committed to “Change The Outcome” for patients by funding cutting-edge research, improving treatments, and providing support.
