Things You Need To Know…
November 20, 2024 9:13 amLeaf and Yard Waste Collection Delays
London is experiencing delays in its leaf and yard waste collection program due to a higher-than-usual number of bags placed at the curb. This surge in waste, caused by warm weather in late October, has resulted in more bags being collected than expected.
Currently, the third collection in Zone A (Byron, Westmount, Oakridge) is nearly complete, and crews will begin working in Zone B (north and north-central London) on Tuesday. Collection in Zones C and D will follow once Zone B is finished.
All five zones have received two of their four scheduled pickups. Residents can check their collection calendars or use the Recycle Coach app for pickup reminders. Yard waste can also be dropped off at an EnviroDepot for free.
