Argyle Santa Claus Parade

The Argyle Santa Claus Parade is set to light up East London on Saturday, December 7, starting at 11 a.m. This year’s theme, “Candy-Coated Holiday Magic,” promises festive fun with 28 floats, costumed walkers, and unique entries, like a demolition derby car “smashing” through a Christmas tree. The parade begins at Parsons Street and travels west along Dundas Street, ending at Hale Street. Keep on the look out for Classic Rock 98.1 who will be making an appearance in the parade…almost as exciting as Santa!

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as roads will close at 10 a.m., and bring donations of non-perishable food or gently used toys for local charities. Volunteers will collect these at the start of the parade, swapping your kindness with candy giveaways. Additionally, free hot chocolate will be available along the route.

Accessibility features include two special sections: a quiet zone for those with sensory needs and a low-mobility area with transportation support provided by Participation House.
