- Road Closure: Glansworth Dr. between Bradish and Highbury will be closed until Friday for rail repairs.
- St. Thomas Earthquake: Earthquakes Canada recorded a 4.3 magnitude in St. Thomas on Sunday. The quake was centered out of Ohio, which is across the lake from St. Thomas. Some people online said they could feel the shake all the way in London. No injuries were reported.
- Waterspout in Lake Erie:What appeared to be a waterspout was spotted over Lake Erie on Saturday. Confirmed by Western University’s Northern Tornado Project, the waterspout did not cause any damage.
- Unlicenced Short Term Rentals: Londoners who are wishing to rent out a part or all of their property are being reminded they will need a license to do so. The requirement came into effect in October 2022. The bylaw is meant to address parties and other neighbourhood disturbances.
- Team Canada: After being eliminated from the World Cup, John Herdman will be stepping down as the team’s head coach. He has been coaching the team since 2018, and is arguably the most decorated coach in Canadian history. He will be taking the position as Toronto FC’s newest head coach.
