- Snowbirds in the sky this weekend: The London airshow will be back again this weekend. Presented by SkyDive, there will be dozens of military aircrafts demonstrating their skills in the air. There will also be vendors, food trucks and for the first time, a firework grand celebration. The London airshow was voted the Best Airshow in North America by USA Today. The show will commence from September 8-10 at the London International Airport. Click here for tickets.
- Western Fair is back: The highly anticipated annual Western Fair is returning to the fairgrounds this year. Every year family and friends flock to the Western Fair and it never disappoints. This year will feature five completely new rides alongside the 45 midway rides they offer. Along with concerts, animal barn and other attractions, this year will be unforgettable. The fair starts September 8th and will run until the 17th. Click here for tickets.
- Construction slowly starting to ease up: This summer was a rough year for construction. Luckily as the summer comes to an end, so does some construction. Queens between Richmond and Wellington St. will finally be opening up after months of construction. Adelaide Between McMahon and Elias is still closed until Saturday to lift the rail bridge.
- London to Ottawa and back: Via Rail announced they will be increasing rides from London to Ottawa in a press release. Starting in October, there will be two more round trip trains going from London to Toronto, then Toronto to Ottawa. Mayor Josh Morgan said he’s “happy to see the return of Via Rail trains 82 and 83” in a tweet. Passengers can start booking their trips next week.
