Celebrity Status – Drake, Ben And Matt, And Wednesday

Drake is teasing the release date of his new album ‘Iceman’, hidden underneath a massive structure of ice blocks in downtown Toronto. This stunt comes after a great ball of fire that exploded at Downsview Park in North York overnight last week, also part of promoting the album. He has been building momentum for the last several months, including his Iceman YouTube series. Drake is trying to redefine his image following a long and ugly feud with Kendrick Lamar.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have won awards separately and together — most notably an Oscar for writing Good Will Hunting — and they will reunite to pick up another honour next week, this one in memory of Robin Williams. They will jointly receive the 9th Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award presented by Glenn Close‘s nonprofit, Bring Change to Mind, at the organization’s fundraiser, set to take place on April 27th.

Cher may have a new teenage granddaughter. Ex-model Kayti Edwards (also Julie Andrews’ step granddaughter) claims she shares a daughter with Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman. Cher says she didn’t know the child existed for more than a decade. She recently filed for conservatorship of her son who is currently in a psychiatric hospital.

On Monday, Netflix released a first look at ‘Wednesday’ season three. In the photo, Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday is spotted in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, standing next to Thing, who is on top of a motorcycle. Netflix captioned the post “From Paris, with dread.” No release date yet, but filming for the show’s third season is also currently underway near Dublin.

And the teaser trailer for ‘Practical Magic 2‘ is out, promising a “must-see cinematic event of fun, magic and mayhem.” Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, Dianne Weist and Stockard Channing are back and new cast members include Joey King and Maisie Williams.
