During a press conference on Monday, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani seemingly confirmed Taylor Swift’s wedding date as July 4th weekend, reportedly taking place at Madison Square Garden. When asked about the World Cup on July 5th, he remarked, “It coincides with July 4th, America 250, and Taylor Swift’s wedding all happening at the same time.”

An executive producer on the reality series Love Island USA has died after a medical emergency in Fiji. James Barker died unexpectedly at age 40 last week while working on the show. He will be honoured during tonight’s episode. TMZ, which first reported the news, noted that the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.

Corey Feldman was reportedly hospitalized after suffering a medical emergency on a flight to LA. Doctors believe his pain could be related to pancreatitis or gallstones, according to TMZ. He was on his way home from Chicago, where he participated in ‘Stand by Me Live’ with Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic movie.
