Celebrity Status – Donkey’s Movie, Celebrate Canada And Ariana Postpones The Sunshine
June 30, 2026 9:33 amFor Tuesday, June 30th:
Ariana Grande has postponed several shows on her current tour, but only by a day or two. An official statement explained that the move was made “to ensure the full production can be delivered safely and as intended.” The Eternal Sunshine Tour is set to wrap up Sept. 1.
The highly anticipated Legally Blonde prequel series ‘Elle’ releases all eight episodes on Prime Video tomorrow, and already has a season two renewal. The series follows the title character Elle, who is played by Lexi Minetree, as a high school student. Reese Witherspoon — who played the OG character in the Legally Blonde movies — is among the executive producers.
Also tomorrow for Canada Day, the CBC has a TV Special called ‘Celebrating our Canada!’ Alessia Cara, Barenaked Ladies, The Tragically Hip’s Paul Langlois and more will help celebrate Canada Day with performances right across the country.
ICYMI: Donkey from the Shrek movies is getting his own spinoff! Shrek 5 opens in theatres next summer on June 30th, and then one year later Eddie Murphy’s will be back for Donkey‘s own standalone animated feature on June 30, 2028.
Actress and director Olivia Wilde was on Dax Shephard’s podcast recently and explained how to pronounce her real last name. Her last name is Cockburn (like the singer Bruce Cockburn) and so, if you know how that is spelled then you know why it’s important to give the correct pronunciation. (Side Note: I once had to run into the studio at Fanshawe Radio to tell a classmate that he mispronounced Bruce Cockburn’s last name on the air… lol.)
