Just over a month after the Recording Academy unveiled a new Best Asian Pop Music Performance category at the Grammys, BTS announced today that the group will not submit its music for consideration at the 69th Grammy Awards next year. The joint statement said “We hope our music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.”
Jared Leto has been accused of Criminal Sexual Conduct. In a new BBC documentary, 10 women come forward with allegations against the actor and musician, four of whom claim the offenses occurred when they were teenagers. This is not the first time such allegations have been made. Variety has reached out to Leto’s reps for comment. “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret” airs today.
