Jennifer Hudson will also perform the U.S. national anthem. She sang America The Beautiful last night at the MLB All-Star Game

The alleged multimillion-dollar defrauding of Spiderman creator Stan Lee by his manager is the subject of a new documentary. “Stan Lee: The Final Chapter” compiles footage shot by another of Lee’s assistants that chronicles how Max Anderson allegedly swindled him for years. It will screen July 23 at San Diego Comic-Con, before its releasing on VOD on July 28th.

Anya Taylor-Joy is a con artist on the run in the thriller ‘Lucky’ based on the novel of the same name by Marissa Stapley. The first two episodes in the series come to Apple TV today. And Prime has the movie ‘Ride or Die’ with Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham as best friends whose lives are turned upside down when one of them is revealed to be an international assassin.

On the big screen, Xolo Maridueña is set to reprise his Blue Beetle role in the “Superman” sequel “Man of Tomorrow.” The film, directed by James Gunn, is currently in production. Maridueña first portrayed the superhero in the 2023 film “Blue Beetle.”

And ICYMI: LEGO has teamed up with Olivia Rodrigo to bring a five-set LEGO collection to life. The sets include a guitar, vinyl, a bouquet of flowers and a briefcase with several pieces to build inside, including her iconic megaphone. All will be available in Canada on Aug. 1st.
