Celebrity Status – Snoop, Spidey, BSB, And Michael B. Jordan

Mary Story, an 89-yr-old grandmother from Tulsa Oklahoma, went viral for hanging a framed photo of Michael B. Jordan on her family photo wall. She joked the Oscar winner was her grandson. And then like any good grandson, Michael B. Jordan FaceTimed his ‘grandma’… he also surprised her with a bracelet and necklace.

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television are getting a big-name replacement for the lead of their high-profile ‘God Of War’ drama series. Dave Bautista is in negotiations to play Kratos in the video game adaptation. The role is being recast after Ryan Hurst (Opie from Sons of Anarchy), tore a bicep while performing a stunt on set in late June.

Internet memes about Snoop Dogg and Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys being twins have circulated for years… and finally the two were photographed together at the premiere of ‘Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie’. (And they do look a bit alike!) Snoop voices a character in the animated film, while the Backstreet Boys recorded a song for it. Otherwise, Snoop is working on a biopic about his life that arrives in theaters Aug. 6, 2027…and BSB are at the Sphere in Vegas until the end of the month.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is still breaking records… it took in $42 million on Tuesday, the biggest Tuesday ticket sales ever in North America.
