“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” her rep told ABC News in a statement.

Nick Reiner‘s petition to access the $1.5 million trust fund, as he faces murder charges in his parents’ killings, has been blocked by trustees.
Reiner, 32, has been indicted for the murders of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, in their Brentwood home in December 2025. He pleaded not guilty to the initial murder charges in February as well as to the new charges added on Wednesday and remains in custody in L.A.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Becomes Second-Fastest To Cross $2B At Global Box Office
Holy cow! Or whatever kind of Holy is yelled out in a comic book, but Sony/Marvel Studio’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossed the $2 billion global mark, becoming the second-fastest movie to do so and the eighth movie to ever cross that benchmark. Brand New Day pulls off this feat in 17 days
For the most part, the new major studio dinosaur wide entries of Paw Patrol: Dino Movie and The End of Oak Street benefitted from a situation of all boats rise. Along with Brand New Day, the three movies split the family audience as kids went back to school (51% K-12 were off on Friday).
Paramount/Spin Master’s PG-rated Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie overperformed at $20.5M and Warner Bros/Bad Robot’s The End of Oak Street came right around where NRG predicted at $21M.
Universal’s The Odyssey remained at No. 2 in its fifth weekend with $23.2 million to bring its domestic cume to $504.6 million. Now standing as Christopher Nolan’s highest-grossing title worldwide, the mythological epic added $98.2 million overseas, including $36.6 million from its debut weekend in China, to push its global total to $1.29 billion.

Christopher Abbott has been tapped to play Charles Xavier aka Professor X in Marvel Studios‘ X-Menmovie. Also joining the film’s are Adam Driver, Obsession breakout Inde Navarette and & Juliet star Maya Boyd.
The castings and a release date of May 5, 2028, were unveiled Friday at Disney‘s D23 event in Anaheim.
