Celebrity Status – Lindsay, Miley, Ella And RIP Principal Belding

Miley has scored her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 in over a decade with her latest, “Bass Persuades.” In a very tight race, she landed ahead of Ella Langley‘s “Dandelion,” which holds at No. 2. But Ella Langley’s ‘Choosin’ Texas’ hangs on to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for another week (making that 24 weeks for those keeping track) AND with 19 weeks, “Choosin’ Texas” breaks the record for most weeks at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart too.

Dennis Haskins, the actor best known for portraying Principal Richard Belding on “Saved by the Bell,” has died. He was 75. Haskins played the iconic principal in the long-running series from start to end — 1989 to 1992 — as well as another Saved By the Bell series and a Saved By the Bell movie, along with roles in a number of other shows over the years.

Lindsay Lohan is set to produce and star in the new Netflix romantic feature ‘Return to You’, starring opposite Henry Golding of Crazy Rich Asians and Last Christmas. She plays a powerful but lonely attorney who mistakenly receives a DVD sent by a dying woman to her husband. And with only the clues from the DVD, she sets out to find him.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Zahara has dropped his last name, while keeping her mom’s last name. The couple’s eldest daughter is their third child to make that change. Their daughter Vivienne is also in proceedings to do the same.

And ‘Reacher’ has been renewed for season 6, while season 5 is still in production here in Ontario.
