After Macklemore was dropped from Ed Sheeran’s tour this week, he says the decision came from concert venues and promoters following Macklemore’s comments about the Israel-Palestine conflict. In a lengthy statement yesterday, Ed Sheeran said he considers the suffering on both sides a “human tragedy.” But he also made it clear he does not believe his concerts are the place for political speeches. Other acts including Finneas, Lukas Graham and others have exited the LOOP Tour in support of Macklemore’s removal.
