Kelly Clarkson said goodbye yesterday to The Kelly Clarkson Show. After a successful 7-year run — and more than 1,200 episodes — she closed out her talk show with fan song requests, including a performance of “Golden” from “KPop Demon Hunters.” She also performed her new song, “I’d Be Lyin’,” for the first time, which appears to be the first single from her upcoming 11th album. Up next, she will be back as a coach on season 30 of The Voice, which debuts Monday, Sept. 21st

While tributes and memories of Dolly Parton continue to fill our social media feeds, her niece has confirmed that Dolly has been laid to rest with her husband Carl, in a private family service. Meanwhile, Dolly’s estate announced Monday that instead of a traditional public memorial, her fans will be able to celebrate her legacy next year with DollyFest: The Celebration of a Lifetime set to take place in London and Nashville. There’s a trailer for Practical Magic 2, which had its premiere this week. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are reprising their roles 28 years later… and Maisie Williams is in this one too. Look for it in theatres next Friday.

In other headlines, A jury has found Duane “Keffe D” Davis guilty of orchestrating the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. Prosecutors and police claimed that Davis handed the gunman the murder weapon. Davis, who is now 63, faces a maximum of life in prison.

And Ella Langley’s ‘Choosin’ Texas‘ has hit 20 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record for a non-holiday song. If it holds on for three more weeks, it will surpass Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
