Celebrity Status – Saoirse, Lindsay, ‘Carrie’ And Jessica

Saoirse Ronan brushed off rumors that her husband, Jack Lowden, is the next James Bond. She insisted they’re too busy at home to be concerned with speculation. Sounds like even if she knows the truth, Saoirse isn’t about to spill the tea. She did say Lowden’s ‘Slow Horses’ costar Gary Oldman thinks it should be Lowden.

Lindsay Lohan was spotted filming her new rom-com in Toronto. In ‘Return to You’ she mistakenly receives an emotional DVD meant for the husband of a dying woman. Production is scheduled to wrap Nov. 10th. Look for the movie on Netflix sometime next year.

The latest adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘Carrie’ is a series, available today on Amazon’s Prime Video. And on a side note, the streamer has signed a six-year deal to take over the Primetime Emmys telecast effective next year. Meaning it will not be broadcast on regular TV for the first time since the ceremony began in 1949.

Jessica Biel has joined the cast of the upcoming film “Playmates” and will play a former Playmate and fictional wife of Hugh Hefner, played by Bill Pullman. Lily-Rose Depp is also in this one.

And following Olivia Rodrigo’s statement in support of the Jane Doe at the center of the Cornell lawsuit on Sunday, U.S. political commentator Megyn Kelly told her to “shut up and stick to singing”, calling her a “know-nothing moron” who should “sit down and be quiet.” WOW.
