Celebrity Status – Olivia’s Christmas Song And Garth’s Matinee

For Wednesday, November 4th:

Country music superstar Garth Brooks has added a third show at Hamilton’s TD Coliseum on Dec. 6th, and it’s a matinee… talk about knowing your audience! If your fans were old enough to drive themselves to your first concert over 30 years ago, you just know they’re ready for a little day drinking on a Sunday and home by suppertime! All tickets are $199.95 and go on sale at ticketmaster.ca this Friday at 10am with no presales.

Music composers, songwriters and artists will be honoured for their contributions to music in film, television, video games and other media at the annual Hollywood Music in Media Awards on Nov. 18th. Songwriter nominees include Noah Kahan, Diane Warren, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff, Beck, Charli XCX and Miley Cyrus. Last year’s winners included “Golden” from K-pop Demon Hunters and the original score for “Sinners” and both went on to win Oscars.

There’s a full trailer out now for ‘The Man With The Bag’, an upcoming holiday movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson, with Awkwafina as a rogue elf with a grudge. When Santa’s iconic red bag is stolen, Christmas is suddenly at risk. Look for it on Prime Video December 2nd.

Journey fans… maybe Don’t Stop Believin’ just yet! Ahead of Journey’s Toronto concert tonight, lead guitarist Neal Schon — the only original band member left — hinted that the Final Frontier tour might not be the end after all. They have just one show scheduled for next year, but… you never know.

And Olivia Rodrigo has announced her first-ever Christmas song, “take me home (4 christmas)” will drop tomorrow. The music video also arrives tomorrow, and will feature “Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon and Ben Marshall from SNL.
