Celebrity Status – Katy, Snoop, Kim K And A Baby!

Katy Perry is facing local opposition to a proposed youth summer camp called Gratitude Canyon which she would develop on a 110-acre parcel of land in her hometown of Goleta, Calif. It’s envisioned as a “place of inspiration and access for underserved youth from the surrounding region” offering programming in the arts, nature and creativity. The 380 local residents are calling themselves ‘Neighbours Against Gratitude Canyon’ — which I gotta say, doesn’t sound very neighbourly!

Cynthia Erivo has joined the cast of the Snoop Dogg biopic in a key role. She will play Tupac Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur, a former Black Panther activist who had a strained relationship with her son and was the subject his top 10 hit “Dear Mama.”

A year, after failing the bar exam, Kim Kardashian is still committed to her dream of becoming a lawyer. She is currently juggling a new season of The Kardashians, an upcoming film from Eva Longoria, her SKIMS business, raising her four kids and her lawyer drama ‘All’s Fair’. She says she plans to retake the bar exam when “the moment is right” but I guess for now she’ll just play one on TV..?

As the search for the next James Bond intensifies, Pierce Brosnan — a former Bond himself — has endorsed Callum Turner as the next 007. According to reports, Turner, Jack Lowden, Josh O’Connor and a fourth mystery actor are all in the running to step into the role. (It’s Nick, isn’t it? lol)

And Jamie Foxx has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp. This is Foxx’s third child. He has two daughters from past relationships.
