Celebrity Status – Mariah Is Back! And Reese Says Goodbye To Half Of Hello Sunshine

Yesterday was November 1st, so you know what that means… It’s tiiiiiime! Yes, Mariah Carey has been defrosted and is back for the Christmas season once again with her signature song of the season. This year her ‘It’s Time” video saw Mariah as the tree topper on a massive Christmas tree. Side note: Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” now sits at 25 weeks at #1, while Mariah is at 22, but the last two years All I Want for Christmas added four weeks each year, so Mariah could take the lead once again.

A bit of a slow weekend at the box office, A24’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary “You Can See Everything” and DC’s comic book adaptation “Clayface” are vying for first place, with each film around $10.5 million for the weekend… Clayface may fall just behind. And the stop-motion animated fantasy “Wildwood” remained at No. 3

Reese Witherspoon bought back her production company Hello Sunshine from Candle Media and now she has let go 30 employees, roughly 50% of Hello Sunshine’s staff. The company will now focus primarily on film and television projects and the Reese’s Book Club brand.  Reps for Hello Sunshine declined a request for comment.

Four months after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot July 3rd at Madison Square Garden… people are still speculating about it. Tim McGraw weighed in on the rumor that he performed at the wedding. He said, “Surprise, the internet’s not always correct.” He’s not wrong.
