Morgan Wallen Leads Country Stars With American Music Awards Nominations

Taylor Swift dominates the 2026 American Music Awards with eight nominations, while country stars claim major recognition across multiple categories.

Morgan Wallen follows with seven nominations, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Best Male Country Artist, Best Country Song and Best Country Album. 

Ella Langley earned five nominations spanning New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Song of the Summer, Best Female Country Artist and Best Country Song. 

Megan Moroney received three nods for Breakout Tour, Best Female Country Artist and Best Country Album. Shaboozey secured nominations for Collaboration of the Year, Best Male Country Artist and Best Country Song.

Other country nominees include Kelsea Ballerini, Tucker Wetmore, Zach Top, Old Dominion, Sam Barber, Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert. 

The AMAs air Monday, May 25th, on CBS and Paramount+.  Queen Latifah is the host.
