Five Country Stars That Skipped The ACM Awards
May 20, 2026 7:45 amThere were a lot of country stars in attendance at the ACM Awards in Vegas on Sunday, May 17.
But several country singers skipped the show, including…
1. Megan Moroney. She was the most nominated artist of the night, so it was a surprise when she wasn’t there. But she posted a message saying she had to skip because she was the maid of honour at her best friend’s wedding.
2. Morgan Wallen. No surprise there. He rarely goes to award shows.
3. Jason Aldean. He wasn’t nominated for anything, so why not relax at home?
4. Luke Combs and Jelly Roll were also no-shows. They were both nominated for Entertainer of the Year, but it seems they had better things to do.
Meanwhile, Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, and Zach Top had 27 nominations between them, and they were all shut out.
