John Prine Tribute Concert Set For October
May 24, 2026 7:00 amA tribute concert honouring John Prine will take place on October 8th at The Chicago Theatre.
“Souvenirs: 80 Years of John Prine” celebrates the late singer-songwriter’s life and musical legacy.
The Prine Family and Hello in There Foundation are organizing the event featuring artists performing Prine’s songs with his longtime band.
Host John C. Reilly will join performers including Alynda Segarra of Hurray for the Riff Raff, Amos Lee, Josh Ritter, Joy Oladokun, Margo Price, Steve Earle, and others yet to be announced.
All proceeds benefit The Hello in There Foundation’s grant-making efforts in Prine’s memory.
Ticket pre-sales begin today, with additional October 8-11 events to be revealed later.
On May 29th, Fiona Prine and family will host a virtual premiere of You Got Gold: A Celebration of John Prine, filmed at the Ryman in October 2022.
