Darius Rucker Eyes Retirement In Two Years With One Final Hootie Tour

The 60-year-old singer opened up on the Dan Patrick Show, noting the toll of a gruelling schedule.
“I played 110 shows last year… what am I doing? I’m retiring in two years… I might. I’ve been really looking at it. I’m looking at maybe doing a tour — one more big Hootie thing, and calling it.”
Rucker also revealed his ideal final show location.
“We have to finish at Williams-Brice Stadium,” he said, referencing the Columbia, South Carolina venue.
