Riley Green Talks Dating

Riley Green might be country music’s most eligible bachelor.

He recently was on Theo Von’s podcast “This Past Weekend” and was asked about his dating life, or lack thereof.

“I feel like you know better than that because you’re in that world too. It’s really not that easy to meet a girl when you’re doing what we’re doing. I mean, I’m not going to meet a girl at a show, I’m confined to the back on a bus and I’m not going to meet a girl on Instagram. And when you get to a place where people are, it gets tough to know who you’re meeting for what.”

Riley also said he’s always surprised by which songs fans fight to.

“It’s always girls.  There’s been a couple videos I’ve seen of people getting in a fight during ‘I Wish Grandpas Never Died’.  Or I’ve got a song called ‘Jesus Saves’.”

Oh, and he set the record straight that he did NOT have anything to do with Luke Bryan’s “Fish Hunt Golf Drink”.

“He gave me credit for him writing that song. Or he blamed me, one of the two. He texted me and said that we need to get together, it had been too long, and said ‘fish hunt golf drink.’ I was not there. I didn’t write the song. I had nothing to do with the song. I didn’t even send the text, or say, ‘Hey that’s a cool text, you should write a song.’ I had nothing to do with it. I want to say that while we’re here.”
