Carrie Underwood is heading back to Sunday Night Football for her 14th consecutive year.

NBC Sports announced that the country star will once again perform “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,” this time with a rock-inspired makeover.

“This year’s show open welcomes Sunday Night Football into my ongoing rock star fever dream. It’s one of my most favorite opens yet!”

Creative director Tripp Dixon said the revamp drew “inspiration from her deep, well-documented love of rock music.”

The anthem was originally inspired by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts’ “I Hate Myself for Loving You,” making the rock reimagining a natural fit. Underwood first took on the role in 2013, following Pink and Faith Hill.

She recently wrapped her second season as an American Idol judge and will perform at the Grand Ole Opry in late August.
