Taylor Swift Donates $50,000 To Mother Struck By Car While Helping Others

Taylor Swift has donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe supporting Ashley Taunton, a mother of three struck by a vehicle while assisting others during a roadside emergency.

According to the fundraising page, Taunton pulled over in a heavy rainstorm to help someone involved in a car accident. As another vehicle hydroplaned toward the scene, Taunton pushed a bystander out of the way and was hit.

She has since undergone two major surgeries, with more ahead.

Swift left a comment on the page reading, “Wishing you the best recovery possible and sending love to your family!”
