During her appearance on the ‘And The Writer Is…’ podcast, the country star revealed that she channeled her “misery” into writing 75 songs in a single year, ultimately using that material to create her 2016 album ‘The Weight of These Wings’.
“It was kind of magical,” she said of the creative process.
Both singers have since remarried.
