The Chicks Received An Apology Letter From The Woman Referenced In “Not Ready To Make Nice”

“She wrote us a very kind, apologetic letter, and that was sweet. It was something. Meanwhile, we were ‘skanks and bimbos.'”
The line about the woman is, quote, “It’s a sad, sad story when a mother would teach her daughter that she oughta hate a perfect stranger.”
The Chicks are on a tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Taking the Long Way”, the album that song was on.
