December 20, 2018 2:22 pmOne third of people said the holidays just “wouldn’t be the same” without bickering. Here are the top things that can cause arguments:
- Disagreeing about what to watch on TV, or what movie to go to.
- Refusing to help with the dishes.
- The temperature on the thermostat.
- What time open presents on Christmas Day.
- Drinking too much.
- How long you have to stay if you’re visiting relatives.
- Running late for stuff.
- Spending too much or too little on someone’s gift.
- What time to eat Christmas dinner.
- Phones at the dinner table.
- Board game arguments.
- Politics.
Also, 15% of people said the worst part about the holidays is having to pretend you’re in a good mood all the time.
Happy Holidays,
