Fill out the entry form and pick the winning teams from a selection of 15 NHL games scheduled for the upcoming week. The participant who selected the most correct outcomes wins the Weekly Prize and receives a ballot into the Grand Prize draw.
If there is a tie for highest score in a given week, then a random draw will be made among those ‘tied’ participants to determine the Weekly Prize winner. All ‘tied’ participants will receive a ballot into the Grand Prize draw.

For example, John Smith and Mary Jones each correctly selected the outcome for 13 out of 15 games in week 3. A random draw will determine who wins the Weekly Prize (John or Mary) but both John and Mary will receive ballots into the Grand Prize draw.

Yes, each week is a new opportunity for all participants to win the Weekly Prize and qualify for a Grand Prize ballot.
No – only one entry per participant per week is allowed. All entries are tracked for verification purposes and any user found with multiple submissions in a single week will be disqualified from further play for the rest of the Hockey Pool season.
No – only one entry per participant per week is allowed so please double-check your entry before you submit.
Yes. Each week of play is independent of the next so if you don’t play during a given week, you simply forfeit the opportunity at winning a ballot into the Grand Prize draw for that week.
Yes – this contest is open to residents of Windsor, Ontario and communities within the terrestrial broadcast range (including Leamington, Kingsville, Harrow, Cottam, Lasalle, etc.). Please note that, unfortunately, this competition is not open to residents outside of this defined geographic area.

BOSTON PIZZA’S HOCKEY POOL  Official Rules

No purchase necessary. One valid entry per contestant per week of play.

You must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Ontario at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.

Weekly winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If Blackburn Radio Inc. or its affiliates cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Blackburn Radio Inc. and its affiliates reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.

Blackburn Radio Inc. reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 50km radius of Blackburn Radio’s office, located at 2090 Wyandotte St, Windsor ON.

Employees of Blackburn Radio Inc. and its affiliates, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.

Entrants further grant to Blackburn Radio Inc. and its affiliates the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

Blackburn Radio Inc. and its affiliates reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, Blackburn Radio Inc., Inc., and/or its affiliates. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

Blackburn Radio Inc. and its affiliates are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.

If a question cannot be answered because the “action” to result the “answer” is cancelled, forfeited, or indefinitely suspended for any reason, or if there proves to be two correct listed answers for the question, that question shall not count for any contestant and scores will be computed as if the question did not exist.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, provincial and local taxes where deemed necessary.

The points for each question are clearly marked.

For an individual round:

Each week, participants pick an answer for each question.
The participant with the most correct answers wins that weekly round and gets a single ballot into the Grand Prize draw.
In the event of a tie for most correct answers, those participants are entered into a random draw for the Weekly Prize and each receives a single ballot into the Grand Prize draw.
For the overall winner:

A random draw will be performed from ballots of the weekly qualifiers.
All decisions of the judges are final.

Your (“End User”) use of the Service is, however, conditioned upon completion and acceptance of the “End User Agreement” Terms of Service, as well as continued compliance with its provisions. This site is operated in part by Blackburn Radio Inc., who owns and maintains the services (the “Service”) offered on this site. End User is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all telephone, computer hardware and other equipment needed for access to and use of the Service and all charges related thereto. End User acknowledges and agrees that he/she is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her account number and/or password. End User agrees that he/she is entirely responsible for all uses of his/her account, whether or not authorized by End User. End User agrees to notify Blackburn immediately of any unauthorized use of his/her account. End User agrees to ensure that any content or information he/she provides will at all times be accurate, complete and not misleading. End User agrees not to place on this site any content that violates, plagiarizes or infringes upon the rights of others, including copyright, trademark, the right of privacy or the right of publicity, or that would be abusive, profane, obscene, indecent, threatening, defaming, slanderous, libelous, offensive, or otherwise illegal. End user agrees not to solicit the performance of any activity that is prohibited by law. End User agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in connection with this End User Agreement. End User agrees not use the Service in connection with surveys, junk email, spamming, or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise). End user agrees not to restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Service. If End User uses this site from outside Canada, he/she is entirely responsible for compliance with applicable local laws, including, without limitation, the export and import regulations of other countries in relation to the Service.
As part of the registration process, End User will provide certain personal information to Blackburn and its licensees. Except as provided herein, Blackburn and its licensees agree to use the End User individualized information only for internal purposes; Blackburn and its licensees may, however, provide the End User information, in an aggregate form with the information of other End Users, to third parties, but only in such a way that the End User’s individual privacy is protected. Blackburn and its licensees may contact End User periodically to provide him/her with news, other information, or offers which it believes would be of interest to him/her. Opt-out mechanisms are available if End User prefers not to provide his/her information to third parties. All uses of End User information will be in accordance with the provisions of Blackburn’s Privacy Policy, which can be accessed by clicking on the tab titled “Privacy Policy” at the top of this web page.
Blackburn is a distributor (and not a publisher) of some content supplied by third parties and users of the Service. Accordingly, Blackburn has no editorial control over such content. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers, or other information or content expressed or made available by third parties, including information providers and users, are those of the respective author(s) or distributor(s) and not of Blackburn. End User understands and acknowledges that Blackburn neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any opinion, advice, information, or statement made in use of the Service by anyone other than authorized Blackburn employee spokespersons while acting in their official capacities. Blackburn has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and review the content on the Service and End User’s account to determine compliance with the conditions of use and operating rules established by Blackburn, to satisfy any law, regulation or authorized government request, or for other reasonable purposes. End User assumes all risks regarding the determination of whether any content is in public domain.
This site may be linked to other sites on the World Wide Web or Internet which are not under the control of or maintained by Blackburn. Such links do not constitute an endorsement by Blackburn of those sites. End User agrees that Blackburn is providing these links to End User only as a convenience, and further agree that Blackburn is not responsible for the content of such sites. In End User’s use of this site, he/she may enter into correspondence with, purchase goods and/or services from, or participate in promotions of advertisers, sponsors and other users of this site. End User agrees not to “frame” or “mirror” any of the contents or pages contained on or accessible from this site on any other server or Internet-based device without the advance written authorization of Blackburn or its licensors, as applicable. This authorization terminates automatically, without notice to the End User, if he/she breaches any of the Terms of Service.

In no event shall Blackburn’s total liability to End User for all damages, losses and causes of action whether in contract, tort (including its own negligence) or under any other legal theory (including strict liability) exceed the amount paid by End User, if any, for accessing the Service. This disclaimer of liability applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, inaccuracy, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of the Service and content therein, under any legal theory or cause of action.
End User agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Blackburn, its affiliates, licensors, officers, directors, employees, consultants, licensees and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, investigation and attorneys’ fees) arising from End User’s use or any user of End User’s account of the Service or content therein, their violation of the Terms of Service, or their infringement, or infringement by any other user of their account, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
The Terms of Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions or End User’s actual Province or country of residence. End User agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Middlesex County, in the Province of Ontario, for the resolution of all disputes arising from or related to these Terms of Service and/or his/her use of the Service. The Terms of Service will inure to the benefit of Blackburn’s successors, assigns and licensees. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms of Service will be effective only if in writing and signed by Blackburn. If any provision of these Terms of Service is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties, with all other provisions remaining in full force and effect. The failure of Blackburn to enforce any right or provision in these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by Blackburn in writing. These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between End User and Blackburn with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes and replaces all prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding this subject matter. Blackburn can revise these Terms of Service at any time without notice by updating this posting, and End User agrees that their continued use of the Service after such revisions have been posted constitutes their acceptance of such revised Terms of Service. Neither party may assign or transfer this Agreement to any other person or entity without the prior written consent of the other party, (which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld), provided however that Blackburn may assign the Agreement to another entity: (i) owning a majority of its outstanding stock; (ii) into which it merges, or (iii) which acquires all or substantially all of its assets. The provisions of this Terms of Service are for the benefit of Blackburn and their contractors, information providers, service providers, licensors, employees, licensees and agents; and each shall have the right to assert and enforce such provisions directly on its own behalf. Any acknowledgment of an e-mail or other communication from End User that is in any way inconsistent with, or adds to, the provisions of these Terms of Service is null and void. Neither the course of conduct between parties nor trade practice shall act to modify the provisions of these Terms of Service. Blackburn may authorize or allow its contractors and other third parties to provide to Blackburn and/or to End User services necessary or related to making the Service available and to perform obligations and exercise rights of Blackburn under these Terms of Service. Any obligations or duties which by their nature extend beyond the termination of these Terms of Service shall survive any expiration or termination of these Terms of Service. Blackburn and/or third parties may from time to time send e-mail messages to End User containing advertisements, promotions and other such information. Blackburn makes no representation or warranty with respect to the content of such email messages or any goods or services which may be obtained from such third parties, and End User agrees that neither Blackburn nor such third party shall have any liability with respect thereto. Recognizing the above, End User chooses to voluntarily enter this space and to use the Service and to not hold Licensee or Blackburn responsible for any action or inaction on either of their parts. End User chooses to use the service and to abide by the terms and conditions set forth here.

Privacy Policy – September 30, 2016

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes the information collection and use procedures at this website, located at mix967.ca (“Website”) operated by Blackburn Radio Inc. and/or its affiliated companies (“Blackburn”). The Website allows registered Members, as defined below, to create unique online personal profiles (a “Profile”) to submit their weekly answers. The services, features, content and applications offered on the Website are collectively referred to as the “Services”. To enrich our Members’ experience, we request and display some personal information to other Members, which allows users to identify each other and expand their network of friends. Members can change their Profile information at any time and can control how other Members and the Website communicates with them.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THESE THIS POLICY, which describes the information collection and use practices of this Website. The Policy supplements the Terms of Use, which you must also read. “Use” of the Website refers to any activity by either a Visitor (someone who is just browsing the Website) or a Member (someone who has registered on the Website, and thereby set up an “Account”). A “User” or “you” is either a Visitor or a Member. By using the Website, you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the terms of this Policy. If you do not accept any term or condition found in this Policy, do not use the Website. Blackburn may revise this Policy at any time by updating this posting. Any changes to the Policy will be effective as of the date such revisions are posted on the Website. Use of the Website after such changes are posted will signify your agreement to the revised terms. i) PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Blackburn collects personally identifiable information such as name, email address, and birth date to authenticate Users and to send notifications to those Users relating to the appropriate Service. Blackburn collects other personally identifiable information from a Profile, including but not limited to, gender, age and address, in order to assist Members in finding and communicating with each other. Members’ photographs and names are displayed in order to facilitate interaction in the Website’s social networking community. Email addresses are also used to send notifications regarding the Services. Otherwise, a Member’s email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user’s personal network. Users within a personal network communicate on the Website with each other through the Website, without disclosing their email addresses. A Member’s email address may be used to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding a particular Service. Members may choose not to receive email of this type by un-checking the appropriate box on the Member’s “Profile” page.

ii) NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Blackburn also collects non-personally identifiable information including IP address, Profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from Users. Non personally-identifiable information is used to manage the Website, track usage and improve the Services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to Users. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes. From time to time, Blackburn or a Website sponsor (a “Third Party”) may undertake a promotion or contest on the Website. Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. That information will be transferred to a Third Party only for the purpose of administering the promotion or contest, or if the User has explicitly requested that it be transferred for the purpose of receiving information directly from the Third Party. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy policy will apply.

This Policy only governs information collected on the Website. The Website contains links to other websites, although Blackburn is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on those websites. When linking to another website, make sure to read the privacy policies on that website.
Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily post information to a blog, message board or in a public form, that information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications.
Members may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account “Profile”.
Members who no longer wish to receive updates or notification emails may choose not to by un-checking the appropriate box under Member’s “Profile” page. All notification emails and newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future.
Blackburn uses “cookies” to store Users’ preferences and to record session information, to ensure that Users are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements, and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Website content based on browser type and Profile information. No personally identifiable information is stored within the cookies, and Blackburn does not link the information stored in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on the Website. You may be able to configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or to notify you when a cookie is set.
