November 21, 2019 5:30 amGarth Brooks played his 10th The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour stop at Knoxville, TN’s Neyland Stadium on Saturday, November 16th.
Performing the first concert at Neyland Stadium in 16 years, Garth broke the Neyland Stadium and the state of Tennessee’s attendance record for a single concert event with over 84,000 fans who were thrilled to see the superstar running around the stage wearing a UT orange shirt.
Garth described the feeling of walking out on stage at Neyland Stadium.
“It’s like crawling into a nice warm bed or a nice hot bath. You get out there with these people, you hear their voices, you’re home. You’re safe. You’re where you’re supposed to be, man. As much as I worship God, as much as I worship the opportunity to be Trisha Yearwood’s husband and three girls’ dad, when you’re doing this, it’s what you’re supposed to be doin’.”
Garth has wrapped his Stadium Tour for the year. Next on deck is Detroit’s Ford Field on Feb. 22nd, and tickets go on sale on Friday, November 22nd) at 10 a.m.
