New Album From Hootie & The Blowfish
November 4, 2019 11:47 amHootie & the Blowfish officially have new music in the hands of their fans after 15 years!
The Imperfect Circle album was released on Friday, November 1st and includes their current Country radio single “Hold On,” which was co-written by Chris Stapleton.
Whether their music is described as country or pop or somewhere in between, Hootie member Dean Felber tells us the band always has a very specific sound.
“I mean the one thing we figured out through the years is that Hootie & the Blowfish sound is just what it is. We can take any song and it’s going to sound like us no matter what we try, and I think it turns out to be a great thing for us because it doesn’t limit us to a certain category of song or genre; it just allows us to kind of pick the songs that are the best songs and not worry about anything else.”
Imperfect Circle is the followup to Hootie & The Blowfish’s 2005 album, Looking For Lucky.
