Thomas Rhett Using Downtime To Write
June 11, 2020 10:00 amThomas Rhett is taking advantage of his downtime during this global pandemic.
The quarantine has allowed him to write tons of potential future hits.
“During quarantine, I mean it’s been 60 something days, I’d probably say I’ve written 35 to 40 songs. I just feel like any kind of change in life can spark a new idea, and especially the same for your co-writers, because they’re going through the same stuff too So, there’s definitely no shortage of ideas during this time and I do feel very creative.”
Thomas recently celebrated his career 15th Number One hit with “Beer Can’t Fix” featuring Jon Pardi.
He’s currently sitting in the Top 20 and climbing on the charts with “Be A Light” featuring Reba McEntire, Lady A’s Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin and Keith Urban.
