2020 Was An Up And Down Year For Carly Pearce
November 9, 2020 7:00 pmDespite the pandemic, and going through a divorce, Carly Pearce says 2020 has brought her some “beautiful moments.”
On Wednesday, November 11th, she will perform her #1 single, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” on the CMA Awards show and on Tuesday, she’ll make an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“2020’s been interesting, but I think that there are beautiful moments. And for me, something that’s been a beautiful constant thing for me during this hard year has been music. It’s been country music and getting to create country music and then to be recognized in such a huge way. I love country music and it has saved my soul and this is just another way that it continues to save me and make me realize who I’m supposed to be and what I want to do in life.”
Carly was supposed to perform “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice on the CMA Awards, but Brice has tested positive for COVID-19 and is at home self-isolating.
