A Talent Show Judge Once Told Keith Urban He Wasn’t Good Enough
September 7, 2021 7:00 pmKeith Urban recently posted a video of himself getting terrible advice from a judge on an Australian talent show in 1983 when he was 16 years old.
You see him on the show, but his song “Wild Hearts” is dubbed over it.
Then the clip cuts to a live shot of the judge saying Keith should be in a group because he’s not strong enough to go solo.
Then the clip goes to black, and you hear “today’s Keith” say, quote, “Sometimes you just gotta prove ’em wrong.”
That’s followed by a string of concert clips with “solo Keith” showing that judge how wrong he was.

Meanwhile, if you tuned in to the “Today Show” on Friday, September 3rd, you saw Keith and a virtual PINK perform “One Too Many”, and you probably noticed a red spot in the corner of his right eye.
He hit up Twitter on Friday to explain that it’s subconjunctival hemorrhage.

A subconjunctival hemorrhage is usually harmless and goes away after a week or two.
