Chris Janson Talks Working With Eric Church

Chris Janson’s upcoming album will feature a song he co-wrote with Eric Church.

“It was an idea that he sent me, and he said, ‘What do you think?’ I said, ‘Do you think we should co-write it?’ Yes and yes, and so we did, and that was it.”

Chris added that while the two have gotten to be pretty good friends, they haven’t had much time these days to spend time fishing, one of their favourite hobbies.

“He’s been in the midst of touring and I’ve been in the midst of touring pretty heavily, probably more heavily than either of us could have expected … We have not been fishing lately. But our friendship continues to grow together.”
