Hailey Whitters On Opening For Shania Twain

Hailey Whitters won Best New Female Artist at the ACMs in May, and she’s up for New Artist of the Year at the CMAs in November.

Those are bragging rights, but she says the highlight of her year was opening for Shania Twain.

 “She’s the one who planted the seed. I have video footage of me in my underwear belting out ‘Any Man of Mine’, probably seven years old. It was surreal to open shows for the one who set me on this path in the first place.”
