Megan Moroney, who kickstarted her career with “Tennessee Orange,” a twice platinum, #1 song, just dropped a new single, “Indifferent.”

It’s from her upcoming album, Am I OK?, due out on July 12.

Her music has reached a Billion career streams since her first release and she’s up for six ACM awards.

Fast becoming known for her craft of songwriting, she’ll be sharing even more of her personal story on her sophomore album.

Megan explains how she goes about writing a song.

“Well, I wrote my first song when I was 19. And then I didn’t really start consistently writing until 2020. Usually, when I go into a writer’s room, I bring the idea because we’re writing for me. So other writers usually like the artists to like, kind of know what they want to write about. I try to come up with the ideas, and they’re really based on personal experiences. I think because no one taught me how to write songs. It just is authentic. When I go into a writer’s room. I’m not trying to write the next hit. I’m just writing what is relevant to my life and making it as good as possible.
